Positive: Location - walking distance to CoOp Live and Ethiad. Facilities were excellent Beds comfortable Negative: It was very hot, fans would be helpful

Positive: As advertised, and good price. Accommodated a last minute booking. Negative: The shower door was broken as was the sofa downstairs. Also 250 pound deposit which is steep

Didn’t enjoy staying at this property. Disappointed in Booking.com, I thought these properties were checked by you. Also Positive: Nothing. The photos in booking.com do not reflect in reality. Negative: Generally unkempt and not very clean. Everything was old and tired and very shabby- bed linen, curtains (ill fitting and ripped in places). Filthy windows and blinds. Things not working, bed side lamps, lights under kitchen cupboards (some held up with masking tape), broken drawer in freezer. Pots and pans old, shabby and tired. Upstand at the back of the sink coming away from the wall. Garden lawns back and front had grass a foot and a half tall. Only two chairs in garden. Behind one of them was a pan with old cigarette butts inside. Bed right up against a wardrobe meant standing on the bed to put clothes away. At the other side of same room one had to stand on the bed to close the curtains. Kids stickers on wardrobe door. No mirrors or waste paper bins in any of the bedrooms. Cupboard in living room contained cleaning equipment, lots of tins of paint and a bucket with foul smelling mop inside. First aid kit in kitchen - nothing inside but empty packets. Black bags in cupboard on landing- when we asked for hand towels and tea towels we were directed to look there - I declined to do that. They did deliver to us 3 face flannels and no tea towels. They did provide us with a new frying pan after I’d sent a picture of the pan in the kitchen. No instructions for the use of any item in the property.

We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it to others. The property was clean and comfortable Positive: Keys were available in a lockbox which was great as we got delayed and didn't have to worry about meeting host at the property. They contacted me the next day to ensure our visit was going well. The property was clean and I appreciated the Smart TV which was very nice. The area was lovely and a short walk to the stadium which was the purpoes of our visit so that was an added bonus as we didn't have to get a taxi. The property had 3 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet which was great for our group. Negative: Some extra towels would have been great. Bath towels were provided, but some hand towels for the bathrooms would be a nice touch. There is no local shop, so perhaps some milk in the fridge would have been a nice touch as were travelling from abroad. Also, some leaflets, recommendations and contact numbers for local food deliveries would have been useful
