Awful Positive: The only good thing was off street parking. Negative: We stayed here from 11–15 December 2025 as a family of six adults and one baby while attending the funeral of a close family member. Unfortunately, the property was not presented in a condition consistent with the listing or with reasonable accommodation standards. On arrival, the property was unclean and poorly maintained, with dirty floors, overflowing bins, damaged walls, stained carpets coming away on the stairs (a safety issue), mould in the showers and in one bedroom, and visibly dirty blinds. One top-floor bedroom had no working radiator for the entire stay, and the bed in the small middle-floor bedroom was almost unusable due to a severely worn mattress. The utility room was unusable, containing bin bags of bed linen, a broken bin, and rubbish. A rat was seen in the garden, and food waste had been left outside with clear signs of rodent access. We raised these issues with both the host and Booking.com. The owners stated no action would be taken, and Booking.com advised that nothing could be done, which was extremely disappointing given the circumstances. Due to the purpose of our trip, timing, and lack of suitable alternative accommodation locally, we had no option but to stay. This should not be taken as acceptance of the property’s condition. Overall, this property is not accurately represented and we would not recommend it as it is unlikely that significant improvements will be made.

Negative: One night we slept at 14 degrees Celsius because the boiler didn't work and in the end they didn't return our deposit even though we didn't damage anything there. never again

Positive: Lots of space and heating worked well. Negative: Maintenance of the property was poor but cleaning was good. Looks like previous damages had been poorly/cheaply repaired the bedroom I stayed in had no light shade or curtains (did have blinds) or headboard on the bed. So no sleeping once daylight an watch your head on the radiator. Main bathroom ... showerscreen siliconed in place making running a bath very hard work and looks like a leak has just been masked with HUGE amounts of silicone. All bathrooms suffering with black mould.
