Will never use these again

Great stay with great hosts. Would stay again Positive: Staff and comms were really good. Clean and fit for purpose stay which was also good value Negative: The kitchen was fairly light in equipment and facilities. No real issues

Positive: Nice and clean throughout Timely communication from host Quiet area Negative: Lack of furnishings such as mirrors in bedrooms. A dressing table in the large room would helpful for personal grooming etc. Only 4 forks for a house that sleeps up to 8. Having check in information a little earlier would be reassuring.

Mid stay, was nice, was problematic, they will learn from this to help with other stays, hopefully. Positive: The owner's mother was understanding due to my circumstances and was very friendly. She barely spoke to the actual owner. Her son briefly spoke when I arrived but then wouldn't answer my calls. I arrived at the time I had selected on the listing. I was met by some kind and very nice workers who let us in while they hung some TVs. It is a very large house and still cozy; almost all the doors have locks with keys and thumb turns. The facilities are good, and it's a fresh property not too far from a bus stop and near a large park. It's understandable for the Manchester City Stadium and Co-op Arena, but it would be better if you drive, as they are a fair distance away. It's also not far from Lime Square, which has a decent amount of necessary shops, a chemist, and a gym. Negative: The property At the time of my 2-week stay, the cost was around £830 after discount, and you can compare it to the current listing price. I took a gamble on this property because the pictures were from before basically any work was done to it. As it was under development, the majority of the main aspects of the house were done on arrival. For the first week there were workers coming out every day doing tasks, like resizing the doors, as basically none would close; curtains poles out up as they weren't put up yet there were issues with the kitchen, the draws wasn't closing properly missing boreds the boiler's water valve hadn't been turned back on. there were no lamps except 2 very small rechargeable ones with no chargers, the tvs were all refurbished and the living room one wasn't working etc. I made a massive list of things that needed and still need doing and things that need work on. I had to move furniture in the main bedroom, as it had been left in the middle of the room. There was dust everywhere, and a lot was left due to the TV brackets being fitted. The floors are filthy, as they were not deep cleaned before or during the stay – the hardwood downstairs and the carpet upstairs. I had to make the point of being respectfull of my stay that as I felt it was unfair that the workers were coming out every day multiple time's I have recordings of the main guy still being at the property past 8 and 9pm. The next door property, the end house, is under development, and I was woken up most of the days due to this, with extremely loud drilling banging and shouting and that was also scaring my daughter. I had to block the upstairs railings as they were very wide gaps, and my daughter was trying to get through them. When we was checking out, I had everything together at the front door for the time they gave. The cleaner knocked on literally 3 mins past the point and told me I'm supposed to leave.
